At TIME Sober Living, we believe in medication observation. All prescription medications must be surrendered during intake. We will secure all prescription medications in a medication closet locked with a keypad which only staff members have access to. TIME staff does not disburse medications, we are not medical professionals. Medications may be requested from a staff member by the client, and we will be diligent in monitoring the client’s dosage, updating the client’s KIPU profile, and securing the remainder of the medications.
It is your responsibility to notify a staff member when your medications needs to be refilled. This is very important, do not wait until the last pill! At minimum, we request a week’s notice.
If a refill is available, it will be ordered from a local pharmacy and delivered within 24 to 48 hours.
If you need to see the doctor for a refill, an appointment will be scheduled. All paper scripts must be surrendered to staff upon return from your consultation with the doctor. The medication will be ordered from a local pharmacy and delivered within 24 to 48 hours.
Prescription medications are not free. You will be assessed a charge for the copayment. This charge will appear on your weekly invoice and be collected with your rent payment.
If you are a patient at a treatment center as part of your aftercare plan, please contact your therapist or a member of the staff at your treatment center for any medication-related issues, concerns or questions.
All rules and regulations strictly enforced.
